What happens when I've made something homemade AND I have a great day of thrifting?Someone gets an unexpected gift!
Awhile back I had made some laundry detergent (you can find the directions here). Which by the way, I strongly suggest you look around that site even more. Sooooo many cool things to do.
Anway, this past Friday I also spent about an hour thrifting at the Dixie Trading Post, which is an indoor, year-round flea market. I decided to look for glass containers with lids. Age didn't matter.
I found this cute little container from Italy for only $1! I cleaned her up and put about 3 loads worth of laundry detergent in her and tied with some plaid ribbon. Yesterday I gave it to my co-worker Gwen just for the heck of it :-)
i just started looking for laundry detergent recipes. this would make great housewarming gifts.
