Etsy Ideas

Since I'm getting more aggressive about making my SAHM status come true, I'm been creating an Etsy "game plan" (so to speak) that I'd like to share with you. These are a few of the plans I've implemented, and I'd also love to get your feedback and comments if you sell on Etsy :-)
  • Anytime I list something for sale, it has a blog entry for introduction and a link to the item. I then add a link to the LOTCP Facebook page and share it on my personal page and also Tweet about it.

  • I've joined an Etsy team of other sellers that live in or around Louisville. There have been some great discussions going on. I saw another team called "Etsy Entrepenuers", but thought against it because they expect you to complete weekly goals. I didn't want to bite off more than I could chew at the moment.

  • I personally "liked" another seller's item and they sent me a convo to thank me, and to visit their Facebook page. I thought that was a nice business touch so I incorporated that into my plan. Eventually I may ask them to visit the blog in the same convo.

  • I've added my items for sale on the Facebook page with the price and link to the Etsy store. Maybe it will generate some sales?

  • I purchased the domain lotcpstore.com and forwarded the domain directly to my Etsy shop. So my business cards have a www on it rather than an Etsy location. I've seen other sellers do that and it's less than $25.00 for 2 years to own the domain name and I can renew it when needed.

Well those are my Etsy ideas for now. Have a great day!

PhotobucketThank you for stopping by to say "Hi". We love getting your comments. If you like our little blog, we'd love for you to become a {Follower} so you can join in on the fun.
